This Modern Coastal Ranch was once a dark 1952 ranch with a galley kitchen and closed off rooms. The first thing we knew we had to do was add an amazing kitchen and add tons of windows to let the light in! White oak flooring, gold and chrome accents, vertical shiplap and quartz were our design choices to bring the modern coastal vibe to this home that is less than a mile to the beach.

We wanted to tie in the vertical shiplap on the exterior of the home to the kitchen hood and fireplace mantle.  We also wanted to keep things interesting by mixing Gold/Brass fixtures with chrome. And of course to warm things up we like to add wood …
